Default Re: Gatti's death ruled a suicide; wife has been released

A few things strike me about the picture.

1- If you were going to hang yourself from the stair case.. Why not just climb the stairs set of the strap and hop over the railing?

    2. its apparent that there was a fall of some type, assuming the body has not been tampered with. The position of the right arm is an unnatural position. its typical of an arm that was trying to break a fall. Had he been choked on the floor. His hand would be palm side down either bracing itself against to floor to relieve the tension on the throat caused by an upward choke againts gravitys effect on the body. Or if it had gone limp while reaching for the strap (also to counter the leverage being applied by the strap.

So for a possibility. consider this: Arturo Gatti is pretty shitfaced and walking around the house after returning in the cab with the baby (i think the reports said). He puts the kid to bed and is probably either looking for another drink or staggering around feeling the effects of the first few.... He sits on the stool by the staircase maybe even leans back... perhaps drifting in an out of conciousness. (we've all been there). At which point the brazilian june cleaver comes home, still stewing about the fight at the club. She sees him sitting there and goes to find a strap or strangling agent and comes back. Shes on the staircase and slips it over his neck and reels back, bracing her foot against the bannister for support. Her reeling back once or twice, pulls the back of arturos head toward the staircase with enough force that it hits corner of a stair or a mounting bracket (perhaps even the bottom of the bannister) that it causes the stab or stab like wounds. Arturos in his already weakened state is no match for the leverage she has with her the force of her legs back and shoulders pushing off the bannister. (if the stool was concievably tall enough which it might be from the pic.. he couldn't even secure any footing as his feet werent completely reaching the floor. Eventually he stops struggling and she releases one end of the purse strap and he falls to the floor. she staggers off and sleeps it off. comes back later to the full realization of what she did..

-She didnt have to be strong enough to suspend his body as had already done it when he perched himself on the stool. She just applied leverage not for lifting but just in pinning him there. Its a lot easier to lock and hold a weight in a certain position than to lift it there.
    - I freeze framed the video, there are no marks on her hands (concievable from the purse straps) but then again .. not as much would be needed. the strap was thick enough that it wouldnt cut into her hands. the skin on the hands is also a lot tougher than the rest of the body and takes more to bruise, puncture or abrase. The material of the strap in the video also seems to have a padded part to it which could have been used. Couple that the time she spent in custody could have allowed any marks to heal.

Just a theory running through my head... Run with it if you like.

They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.
