Naz was still on top of his game when he retired....He was outboxed by Barrera...Not beaten up....

Naz quyit because he had no reason to fight anymore and was a bit embaressed by the loss

Naz quit because he became lazy and had no hunger other than the hunger for a big mac or two.

Naz was slipping from the Tom Johnson fight onwards, he just didnt put the time in the gym, and when Barerra beat him like you said he didnt think it was worth it to try again without that hunger and determination he would of been embarresed again.
