I've been following boxing since 1969. I started watching fights at the Honolulu International Center; it is now named after their former governor, Neal Blaisdell Center. Most of the fighters in Hawaii were from the Philippines. Hawaii's demographic consist of over 25% filipinos, they are the biggest group.

There has never been a fighter like Manny Pacquiao. Some had power like Ben Villaflor. But he couldn't fight a boxer. Navarette was good but had no discipline. Andy Ganigan was a one dimensional power fighter from Waipahu. Pacquiao has it all, chin, adaptability, speed, stamina, discipline, work ethics, power, talent, and also what most misses about him, the ability to improvise. Some would mistakenly label it as being amaturist. He takes a lot of chances, but that is part of his greatness.

I just can't see Roach instructing Pacquiao to go and mix it up with the bigger Cotto. Pacquiao will fight by moving and boxing. They'll wait for Cotto to tire out in the late rounds. Cotto has shown he gasses out in the late rounds. That is when Pacquiao will make his move.

Cotto was not even knocked out by a huge WW in Margarito who might have had cement in his gloves. He also wasn't knocked out by two big WW in Mosley and Clottey. So I don't see Pacquiao knocking out Cotto. I see a decision win for Pacquiao. It there is a stoppage, it will be due to cuts or a towel being thrown in.
