The D'mato style was great but it was crap against guys who could move, guys who could jab, and HELLO RIGHT UPPERCUT! That was not post prison that's just D'mato's style it wasn't even JUST Tyson, look at Patterson he had the same troubles.

however!! i have two reasons to support why tyson could have won...read carefully lol

1 -James could take a punch he had a great chin...,And for a tall man was good at throwing those inside uppercuts and fighting inside ...i think this would work against him ...he would take some of Tysons flurrys and hooks while laying against the rope and EVEN THOUGH HE COULDA WON being able to counter and move ...a ref wouldnt let him take too much punishent and Wave it off as a tyson TKO

2-mainly because of tysons people (Custamato, jimmy jacobs etc) tyson was a judges pet ...he was very much on the inside of the behind the scenes boxing world
and people liked him and if he went 12 rounds he woulda won even a controversial decision...people and judges WANTED mike to be there champ and wouldnt easily let him lose a decision
1. And Riddick Bowe didn't have a chin?

2. VS Riddick a guy who carried his power for a full 12 Tyson would have been KO'd no doubt about it. Mike got progressively worse as the fight goes on and everyone knows it, even in his prime.

As for Tyson's bully tactics look how much of a bully Bowe was vs Tillery.
