I disagree with Roach's perspective. It's not weather or not Pacquiao needs Mayweather or Mayweather needs Pacquiao. Certainly if they don't face each other it's a missed opportunity for both of them to make money, but I see it as boxing can use them both. For boxing to have intrigue, it needs the good, the bad but not the ugly.

So why not the ugly, because ugly is a turn off.
