I was watching the Taylor fight again earlier today actually. Froch looked so awkward in those early rounds. His style is very strange, the way he keeps his hands low and stretches out with that jab of his. Taylor had his way with him for most of the early rounds. It's hard to tell whether Taylor simply gassed as the fight went on or Froch adjusted. History would suggest the former, but it shows how easily Froch can be outboxed. Calzaghe would have had a field day with him IMO. Dirrel is untested really, so I can see Froch using his experience to push Dirrel hard late on and maybe force the stoppage. I would hope for Froch to have learned from the Taylor fight though, he surely knows he was well down going into the last few rounds there.

Taylors collapse was one of the most memorable in recent times. He's accumulated a couple of them now. I hope he too learns from it and tries to hold more if in trouble against that bald German dude.
