As much as I agree with Manny that the contract should stipulate a huge amount of money per extra pound (just to not pull another Marquez-a-like trick), 10 millions per pound was highly exaggerated. Greedy punky Floyd accepted. TO accept an olympic test in return is not over-exaggerated. If it's good for Olympian, why couldn't it good for boxers as well?
To me, the argument that it would be a "premiere" is not exactly good enough to justify a total no to the whole thing. As a matter of fact, I would even be in favor that any significant match should be tested in that way.
as much as I dislike Floyd, if ever he has doubts, considering the huge size of the event, it is not an impossible demand. I don't know if Manny really refused of if it is a misunderstanding but for such money and considering that all his previous demands have been fulfilled, I do not see why what Floyd demands here should be ignored as it concerns both fighters and it is not something that will significantly play against Manny. Except if he has something to hide, of course.
