Is Mayweather ruining the sport of boxing?

I think I can easily recall a few fighters who would name a few opponents from time to time who they wanted to fight. This is ordinary practice UNTIL YOU ARE ONTOP OF THE DIVISION!

Most fighters call out other fighters, not sure of your point here, the alternative is "my people take care of that". That's pretty much it for options.

What on earth would possess Mayweather to make and break all these fights, adn calling out these top 20 divisional fighters, versus top 20 P4P fighters? Saul Alvarez?? Mlignaggi?? Bradley?? C'mon money... there are guys in your division... I Promise!

Team Mayweather has publically said nothing about any of those guys, that was all internet rumor, although for the record Alvarez is a welterweight.

Demanding blood tests from every fighter now??

God forbid we start enforcing stricter drug screens, to actually catch people that use PEDs. Current testing has been proven to be ineffective case in point Mosley................

And believe you, me. The Mosley fight will NOT go.
But IF (big IF) it does.. Why is Floyd getting the lions share? Cant they just fight for the larger part of the purse? I mean this is NOT WWF wrestling. The winner is To Be Determined for God's sake.

I have yet to see a fight where the "winner takes more money" I know RJJ has proposed it for fights before, but to my knowledge it's never actually happened. This is common practice not something exclusive to Mayweather negotiations. There have been no sticking point in the Mayweather/Mosley negotiation, nor do I expect there to be. They both want to get paid, they will both get paid the most by fighting each other (now that Pac has elected to fight Clottey instead)

I agree I'm going to stop watching boxing because the sport is deficient because of his practices, and solely his practices

Is Mayweather a diva, yes he is, as is Pac, as is every fighter that has leverage in the negotiation games.

I don't understand the argument that the NSAC drug screen rules, blah, blah, blah. The NSAC drug screen is the minimum required to legally fight in the state of Nevada, the NSAC has a drug policy that's open ended and allows for private contracts (including boxing contracts) to EXPAND on drug screens, to make them more comprehensive and check for things that urine tests may not catch.
