gallas on the right is an odd choice... as is gerrard out wide

gallas is quite astute to playing right back when needed right back from his days at chelsea.

gerrard plays the floating wide man role very well also. His main neccesity is his ability to bring others into the game but he is also a great ball carrier and can make those long rangy mcmanaman esque runs.
