You have to realize London isn't like other fight towns, in that it's much harder to get local support to come follow you all over the country. Small actually has the full lot to be successful physically. Good power, chin & speed. What he doesn't do is work with the fundamentals. He's happy to box like he's sparring & arsing around in the gym. A big contrast was him and Dirrell. Both guys with great athletic ability, but Dirrell had a gameplan and tried to stick to it against a world-class opponent. Smallie could have made the other night a lot easier & secured the win I feel he deserved. But, he's too content to just give away rounds as he plays about. David Pereira has a nightmare with him trying to get him to stick to a plan. He could have ended his fight with McDonagh in a few rounds, but chose to drag it out, whilst he could have probably taken every round against Webb so there was no way they could take it away from him, but he didn't.
