Briggs ate it 7 times vs Lewis...Briggs has only gotten older it's not like he's gotten better. At this point I would again put Wlad in with ANYONE he'll be ready to kick a**. Seems as soon as he throws his right cross the fight is over....he hasn't had to throw the left hook which I think is his best power punch, his jab is his best punch
Of corse Brewster had trouble with Wlad but when Wlad saw Lamon wasn't going anywhere he panicked and fell apart, do you believe this won't happen again if the situaton arises?...Look a wlad in th Peter fight once tired and hit he gets that crazed look on his face and comes undone it's a common theme back to the Purity fight...and the look wlad had in the Sanders fight was "Golota-esque", that pie-eyed wildman look that screams "Medicate Me"!!!...Sure Briggs is is an asthmatic headcase and I believe Briggs is a good test for Wlad because of his size skill and having less heart than Vladdy... but screaming for WK to unify the titles is a bit premature and Manny knows it, so we get Briggs...
Are you drinking right now??

Are you suggesting that a fight with Hasim Rahamn or Valuev is too premature for Wlad right now??

The answer as to why Wlad won't be fighting either one of these guys lies in your name....

yes your name .........PROMOTER which is synonymous with theif, crook, greedy, dishonest etc, etc.......

but as far your concerned, all present company excluded.

Wlad's the best out there right now...a blind man can see that. Don King won't do any deals with Wlad. He doesn't want to lose his belts. If we are lucky we will see a Wlad vs Liahovich early next year but there are too many greedy promoters out there who don't want to lose their share of the pie.
LOL...say what you may about me...Wlad is the best out there how so Wlad is 6-2 in his last 8 with a gift against Williamson so he could easily be 5-3 against less than stellar opponents...except for a well softened Byrd what skillfull boxer did he beat Again in recent years he was Clobbered by an old Corrie Sanders(remember the yound one was beat by Rahman)...KO'd by Lamon Brewster when he saw Brewster wouldn't lay down and recently Brewster has been exposed....so what makes you think that Wlad is Ready for Rahman Its not Wlad skills in question its still his head and Manny knows this...so that's why you get Briggs, plain and simple...
