TBH I have pretty much given up on the mainstream media and actively seek out alternatives. But to be fair to the UK I think we still have a few very good newspapers. It's quite sad, but one of the things I am most looking forward to when I come home is buying my papers every morning. I miss that. The Korean media really sucks. It is so bad that the articles are often random and don't seem to have any real focus. It's almost as if editing is absent. One point will drift into another without any real cohesion. It doesn't help that the media is entirely controlled by the Chaebol who effectively govern things here, but having journalists who don't know how to write makes things really difficult for anyone who truly wants to be informed. In fact this post is fast becoming like a Korean news article. No sources and lots of randomness! Once I become more fluent I think I will apply for a job. Haha, as if a loose cannon like me would last 5 minutes!![]()
