At what point was Derry Mathews ever anywhere near the top of anything ?
He was once ranked top 10 in the WBC and WBO. And was the best fighter by a mile domestically in his division. He won the British young boxers award and showing a lot of potential until he ran into Choi. So yeah, if he werent at the top he was destined for the top.
