No but he can stay active and be the champ defending his throne, Haye will still be there in a year with the same payday.

In the meantime, there's Povetkin or even Valuev which would be a comparison match.

Wlad sells a lot of tickets at home, he sold out his last fight (51.5k) so it's not like he's going to be out a payday.

I think it weakens his negotiating position to sit around and wait for Haye.
