Margarito probably was loading his gloves in those fights so I don't make too much of quitting there.

Cintron already has fought Margarito and Martinez and Angulo and now is fighting Williams. Geez? Who won't this guy fight? If Williams beats Cintron as I expect him to on volume punching, I'd love to see him fight Angulo.
Cintron landed flush and went limp mentally after Margarito walked thru it.Those body shots were solid on Kermit. No one knows if,might, maybe the gloves had issues but I dont think so.Mans guilty of the proven, make him pay, but the revisionist history gets a little out of whack to me.How much of a tainted extra in do you need to risk going into a rematch with a guy you previously took the best from & left him sobbing on his knees in the middle of the ring for ko win?
Not revisionist. I can't agree there. Listen, Margarito consistently makes the point that in the fight with Shane "he didn't know the gloves were loaded." Well, logically, if he didn't know the gloves were loaded for Shane, how could he have known one way or the other whether they have always been loaded?

And to answer your question, if he only beat him the first time with loaded gloves, maybe his "trainer" would think he needed to load them the next time too. Do you think your punches would maintain their power if someone was beating on you with a brick for rounds at a time? Nope. Don't you find it a little funny that he lost the one fight in which we are sure he didn't load his gloves?

I'm not even saying that Cintron would beat a clean Margarito, but still.
