If he doesn't land early, stun, and finish Mayweather, Mayweather will figure him out and coast to another U.D. Even with all of the money on the table, the prospect of this fight taking place doesn't look too promising.

I'm more interested in how much his being a congressman will affect boxing. Are we going to see much more main stream media will follow Pacquiao now? Many of them have mentioned his Congressional race win. I've see it on the TV news, heard it on the radio news and there are a number of main stream news prints that have also carried the story. And I'm talking about non-sports news media. I heard a few month back he is going to a featured story on 60 minutes in September or October. He has brought the worlds attention to boxing but the question remains for how long. If he fights and beats Mayweather, there no telling what will happen to boxing. With this kind of attention McCain might be able to push through US Boxing Commission Bill. We might see some profound changes in boxing. It really is an exciting time for boxing
