I'd love boxing shows to carry on a couple hours after the fight result, going backstage and getting of lots of postfight analysis but it never happens, yet FormulaOne, despite being on BBC 1 where time and space is at an absolute premium gets the kind of extended coverage usually reserved for general elections.

It's bizarre really, although anything on BBC that isn't Eastenders is a positive thing of course.

More to the point why does F1 still serve up the dross it did today where pretty much the entire 78laps was just a precesion.

Brawn ran away with it last year and now red bull are doing exactly the same. Not being able to fuel up in the pits has just made the sport 3times duller than it already was. You can now feasibly get out infront and just drive the car home rather than having to worry about tactics
The best thing they could do for the entertainment factor would be to grade the drivers like in Stock car racing and have the best start at the back. So much more fun if the big guns had to charge through the field each race.
Yeah, something needs to be done. Yesterdays race was boring as hell.

You just can't overtake at Monaco, it's a dull circuit. I fell asleep straight after yesterdays race. That bad.
