Well that's great but I'm not sure it quite compensates for the anti peace actions of Pearl Harbour, the Rape of Nan King and of course the dropping of the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
If it was 5-10 years ago, I would say no and that you,re right. However, now it is 65 years ago, 2 generations more or less actually. If you look at the Japanese life at the moment, it is extremely peaceful. Just to tell you, did you know that there is more lawyers on the Montreal's island than in the whole Japan? Peoples over there fix stuff between themselves because they believe the conflict resolution works better with dialogue and when directly involved.
