I'm not saying I'm 100% certain Margarito cheated vs Cotto all I am saying is that #1 Margarito got caught with loaded wraps right before he fought Shane Mosley #2 Since getting caught with loaded wraps he hasn't competed at the same level as he did before he got caught #3 Its perfectly reasonable to figure that he COULD have been cheating in fights other than the Mosley fight and those fights don't HAVE to be the Cotto fight but the result of that fight does bring about these questions as before that fight Cotto was undefeated.

And don't hold your breath waiting for Margarito or his former trainer to tell the truth about when they have cheated in the past as it would jeopardize future fights and possibly have legal/civil repercussions in the court of law.

He's only had two fights since being beaten by shane. Wraps or not, Shane never let him throw that many punches so it was clearly a style he would have lost to anyway. And so he looked rusty after a year layoff..oh hell call the cops. Then he faces the p4p #1 and honestly looked every bit of the same but was just hammered to death by the best guy in the world. So that means he was cheating? That's absurd. The version of Marg that faced PACMAN would have beaten cotto again, and possibly other contenders at WW such as collazo, berto, or quintana.

We don't know that at all, you are assuming way too much. The Magarito that faced Pacquiao didn't come forward even before Pacquiao landed anything with the same speed and recklessness that he did against Cotto who also hit him with big shots. I am not so sure what Margarito showed on Saturday would have changed whether he wore anything in his gloves or not, he didn't hit Pacquiao as many times as he hit Cotto. But we did see him hurt Manny to the body, but that could also be the size difference. That fight didn't prove anything in terms of how good Margarito still is. Manny was just too much better than him.
