It's an essential component of the human condition. If we lived in a world with no war, no suffering, no adversity there would not be much to do, and even less to talk about. We'd all go mental and start killing each other.

The British, french, Italians and Germans have not killed each other since 1945. So how can they continue living without that essential component?
