So i just recently (Today) got the idea to get into shape (Not fat, but not fit either) and learn some basics on fighting. Why? Well it couldn't hurt right? New York isn't the safest place in the world, so having alittle training could save your life one day. Now i plan on joining a gym within the next few months, but due to money problems its not a definite.
So my main question:
Where do i start?
Should i try to get my self more fit 1st before learning foot work/how to fight, or at the same time?
What is the best way to get fit? Or just make my body stronger? Best quick work-outs to do randomly during the day that will add up over time?
Note: Not willing to take pills/proteins shakes/ect.
