Mayorga to Knock Out Cotto in 2 Rounds

If Mayorga is slow how did he land this uppercut, right hand combination on Mosley? I can see a similar uppercut starting Cottos demise in this next fight. 1 minute 56 seconds in.

Obviously not fast enough to sting Mosely. He saw them coming.

Mosley has a far better chin than Cotto. The only person to have him in trouble is Forrest, the same Forrest that couldn't put a dent in Mayorga, even with free shots! That Mayorga ruins every current welter (including the welter Mosley back then)bar.

Mayorga at his very best couldn't beat Tito, Mosley, Oscar, Manny or Floyd.

He could however beat Cotto, Berto, Cintron, Margarito, Williams etc.

From what I saw of Mayorga before he shot his bolt in the Trinidad and Mosley fights, I certainly wouldn't bet against him 8 or 9 years ago, with anyone.

His stamina was incredible, he was a punching machine that was strong and had an excellent chin. He was a beast of a fighter but his discipline let him down after the Forrest fights.
