Well this is true, Lemieux's style is as an inside fighter. What caught my eye about him originally was the comparison I could make with our very own Ricky Hatton. Both great inside fighters with devastating left hooks to the body followed by the lethal uppercut!

As long as he cuts the ring off and gets inside the jab then he will cause any fighter problems ( which he has shown to date very capabaly ). Once inside not many MW's will be able to handle the body/head combo punishment he can dish out.
I agree but I don't believe he should move up to SMW yet. He's got good fights at MW and he may be stronger than most MW's, but when he goes higher in weight, his power may more average, at least until his body fills out more. He should be angling for a fight with the Chavez Jr. v. Zbik winner.
