I am sure we are going to have that horrid, old Arum say "Well this fight did 200 billion PPV's and we are all very happy". He will then walk away whilst his trousers fall down from the weight of all the pieces of gold in his pocket.
Having said that though, we were all critical of this fight being made. Sure, most of us wanted Mosley to put Manny through his paces, but ultimately the fight was a massive stinkfest. There was little demand after Mosley's recent run of form, it was cynical matchmaking at its best.
So financially speaking it was probably a success, but in terms of Manny's rep and boxing enjoyment it was pile of crap.
What do you guys think, success or a manipulative bore?
