TAKE THE TEST and everything is solved.
Ortiz is a much bigger man than Pacquiao. Roger should be more concerned with Ortiz.
Size aint got nothing to do with it..
It's called physics, look it up! and then say size has nothing to do it! Anytime someone gets hit in the head, there is a potential concision the bigger the mass the more potential there is for damage. If you going to worry, then it's appropriate to worry more about the larger opponent.
Physics.. lmfao What about it? You must put alot of stock into size but ortiz brings nothing to the table that Floyd has never seen before. If Ortiz was a natural middleweight or even a JMW, we can talk about size advantage but aint the case here. He's just had his first fight at 147 but Floyd has beaten bigger and better fighters such as Delahoya back in 07 when he still had something. Floyd doesn't have problems neutralizing bigger fighters and you can watch the Chico fight too... Ortiz has one good win on his resume against an untested Berto and all of a sudden he's the man to beat Floyd Mayweather, with the help of his massive size advantage, of course. lolz

Dont get me wrong, Ortiz is a good opponent and I like this fight because he's a skilled, converted southpaw with great punching power, youth and hunger but his size isn't much of a factor when up against someone like Floyd.
I'm suggesting only that Ortiz is much bigger than Pacquiao and can do more damage with a punch that lands on Floyd's head due to the mass behind his punch. Ortiz will step into the ring at 160+ as he did against Berto. Perhaps you think he is a lightwelter? I make nothing of the issue other than, Ortiz is much bigger and has the potential to do more damage. If Floyd gets tagged, I want to see you lufao at that.
Ortiz is not " MUCH BIGGER " than Pacquiao. He's a little taller but that's doesn't give him much size advantage. Have you compared the legs of these two? Legs are an important part of a fighter's body because that's where balance and punching power is generated and Ortiz has some chicken legs compared to pacman.. On top of that, Pac's has an 8 inch wrist size which is an extreme case for a man of his size.. 8 inch wrists are for HW fighters, and that's another reason why his punches have great effects.. these are some of the reasons why he's been hurting bigger men at higher weights.. ( Besides PEDS which is another story ).... ORtiz doesn't punch harder nor is he the type to impose his size on his opponents so size is pretty much a non-issue here..

Here's an interesting piece on Pacman's power..

Where things get interesting is in the extreme cases, and among these fighters there is no bigger extreme than Pacquiao. The man has 8in wrists, which is higher than the wrist average for heavyweights. When you consider he is only 66.5in tall (just over the superfeatherweight avg height) it feels even more impressive. One of the things that has characterized Pacquiao during the past two or three years is his ability to punch extremely hard for someone his size against seemingly bigger foes. Well, two fighters among those I checked who also were recognized for their power and who also have 8in wrists with much smaller height than their wrist size would suggest are Joe Louis, 74in height, 8in wrists (should be 7.45in) and Mike Tyson, 71.5in height, 8in wrists (should be 7.23in). I'm assuming it is not necessary to highlight that both Louis and Tyson fought at the heavyweight class.
Pacquiao is 5'-6" steps into the ring is weight at ~148lbs and has to maintain a high protien diet to keep that weight. When Ortiz is 5'-9" steps into the ring steps into the ring at ~160lbs which is Middleweight. Ortiz is bigger than Pacquiao. (You can try to twist this FACT but it remains a FACT)

If Ortiz went on the same diet as Pacquiao he'd easily weigh well over 160lbs and probably closer to 170lbs. The wrist size thing is an anomaly that proves nothing about size or weight which is the criteria for classification.

Picking out body part sizes for creating anomalies can be done by anyone who wants to do the research comparison. It doesn't make the conclusions scientific or proven. It can only identify a possible trend provided enough numbers were gathered. When using these study techniques, it is typically referred to as sampling. The internet is filled with these type of articles that are poorly supported but well written and can a lot of myths.
