hold up, weren't you the one who was talking about Floyd wanting 5 world titles in 5 different weight classes and that he could take less money to do it as a reason he shouldn't fight Margarito when he can fight at a higher weight and get his title from a legitimate champion? Karmazin had just beaten Ouma it doesn't get much more legitful at 154 pounds. So why are you talking about money now? What happened to "Floyd's dream" of 5 titles in 5 different weight classes before he became 30, couldn't he have fought Karmazin to accomplish that?

could have, but in case you forgot he was busy trying to make the delahoya fight happen at 154. which is a much bigger fight than karmazin

Even though DLH said he wasn't fighting anymore that year? And wasn't he also talking about fighting Wright who was no longer 154 pound champion? No Ouma was and guess who beat Ouma, Karmazin so why not fight for a legitimate title when DLH even said that the title he held was useless?

because it would be better to see if karmazin was the real deal by defending to a solid opponent (like spinks) so that it would be a bigger fight.

that worked out for floyd btw i like spinks (2 time world champ) better than karmazin (one hit wonder)
