The people predicting a tough fight for Mayweather will probably be the same ones complaining about him even taking it after he wins. I'm not saying Ortiz is crap or that he isn't dangerous to a lot of guys, but I would actually put 50 dollars on him not winning a single round clearly, he has absolutely zilch Mayweather hasn't seen a thousand times. Wheras in reverse, the craftiest fighter Ortiz has fought would be... Nate Campbell? Anyone remember seeing Floyd ringside at the Berto-Ortiz fight, after the(3rd or 4th) round where they traded knockdowns? He was clearly loving the action, but had this stupid grin on his face relishing what cannon fodder either would be to him, basically.
Ortiz can't move laterally? Have you watched him fight at all? One of the things he does best is move laterally. I agree he doesn't have a jab, but he sure has a right hook, and look what Demarcus' hook did to Floyd.

I think if Floyd fights smart this will be a relatively easy fight, but if he definitely has more difficulties with southpaws because he can't control the pace with his jab or use his defense as effectively, but that's not to say he isn't still extremely hard to hit or that he isn't effective offensively, but he doesn't comit his body movement with his lead right hand as a southpaw as he does with the jab as a orthodox fighter. It should be interesting because this is also the first southpaw Floyd has faced that is distinctly bigger and stronger than him. Ortiz also has exceptional power, quite fast hands, and very fast feet. THe biggest thing this fight will answer is how Floyd deals with a southpaw right hook, and aggressive movement from a southpaw.
