Not from London, but last thursday a man was shot by the police tasked to look after gun crime in London, the bloke was carrying a gun, Im guessing the was a threat he would use it against the police so they shot him! The local community took exception to this and started protesting, this has since escalated to full on riots in regional areas of London.
It has now spread across the country to Bristol, Birmingham, Nottingham, Liverpool, Leeds.

More and more areas jumping on the bandwagon of looting. Over 100 arrests in Birmingham last night, average age of 13 !

Now im not racist in the least, but I do wonder If a white man was shot for doing the same thing, would will still have the same reaction/fallout ?

It's disgusting these idiots are not only targeting innocent business' but the poor soles that live in the same area the rioters do, what the f**k !?!?! Many people now left homeless, and for what reason? Will they only be happy when they kill innocent people trapped in their homes whilst their homes burn down around them

Well look on the bright side, at least this riot didn't take place during the '12 Olympics in London where head of states, foreign visitors, and the whole world would be watching on an large scale. Just imagine the political fallout if this happened during the Olympics and some head of state or one of their family members was accidently hurt.

Now I dont for a second believe the police aren't trying but I agree with the sentiment. You know when this is all said & done the agenda will be pushed by the police that this would have been handled better with more police funding (less cuts), I think there's going to be some quite blatant extortion demands from the senior police following the fallout of this. There was a fella from the MET on newsnight last night who pretty much said they were doing a good job all things considered. How about loosen the liberal rules and crack some yob heads rather than just filling the fucking cells... These shits who are playing with fire deserve to get burnt- the rioters not the police!
