If Dawson turns up with the right mindset I think he beats Hopkins, but if he keeps on fighting like he has recently then he is in for a long night. Physically he is younger, bigger and stronger than Hopkins, but he cannot fight gun shy nor get too lazy or careless.
Dawson can be very good, but he sometimes falls asleep in his fights.

Sounds a lot like Pascal to me .
Dawson can win only one way, he has to concentrate and be consistent because Bernard is the king of illusions. It starts during the prefight interviews and ends when his opponent is left scratching his head saying,"What happened?"
I think Hopkins really makes a statement in this fight in the way he dominates a top fighter.
Some are picking Dawson to win but styles make fights and Dawsons is made for Hopkins. Although on paper its a close fight I reckon we could see another 12 round landslide. Bad Chad just wont be able to pick up the points against the ring master and after a couple rounds will become fozen and unable to pul the trigger at all. Weve sen him struggle in his last two fights and he is yet to face the most experienced opponent of his career who will frustrate him, make him miss and make him pay.
Hopkins W12 is a pretty safe bet.

I haven't made my mind yet. Normally I'd say Dawson speed, size and power wise but the old man kind of intimidates me andI promised myself that I'd never cast a vote against him when the odds seem to be against him in a reasonable measure... Now Dawson is trained by Manny, that's also to be considered.
I haven't made my mind yet, it's a tough one because Hopkins is Hopkins, really.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
I thought Chad Dawson ate quite a few right hand leads from Adrian Diaconu, and was even stunned a few times. Plus Chad Dawson was lazy in that fight aswell, i was big fan of Chad Dawson but he's let me down a few times recently.
He left it way too late vs Jean Pascal, and could of made a statement vs Adrian Diaconu and didn't.
When he lets his hands go he looks pretty impressive, but the thing is he hasn't in quite awhile. And is always too lazy and relaxed in the ring he needs more fire, i see Chad Dawson having alot of problems with B-Hop.
And if he comes into the ring like he did vs Pascal, Diaconu, then i see him losing.
