I agree with Eric here. I like Perez but he's been seriously overrated since winning the easiest prizefighter ever.

Kertson Manswell was a big fat lump with breeze blocks stuck to his feet who's only punch is a predictable righthand swipe. He makes Sam Peter look like Ali.

Gregory Tony struggled to beat a Russian journeyman, then jumped on the floor, realising he's earned his money, the first time Perez through a shot at him.

Tye Fields - china-chin, needs oxygen mask after the first 90 seconds of every fight - came into the final injured and needed to be helped into the ring he was so fucked.

Fat John McDermott would have smashed all of them to bits.

This is a BIG step up for Perez not Fury.

You avoided the question though. Who wins?

Fury gets credit. If he were to beat Perez, that would mean wins over Chisora and Perez in the same year, it's not half bad really.

Agreed that would mean Fury is getting some credibility back, after that uppercut. I still believe he will become a world champ some day. 5 years time or so.

I wasn't convinced by Perez at all in prizefighter, and he hasn't really fought at any sort of level, with his best win over a blown up journeyman cruiserweight in Ismail Abdoul.

Perez is making the step up, and I'd back Fury going in to this one. As for David Price, I doubt Price would fancy it, so the Canadian Bosnian Neven Pajkic might be the most likely match up to end up getting made.

I never avoid the question ratcantrat.

I think Fury's enormous size advantage, better form and solid chin make him favourite.

(plus I heard Fury smashed him all over the shop when sparring )

I actually agree with you on this. Perez has indeed become overrated.

But at the same time it is only Tyson Fury. Perez already smashed his real daddy in less than a round. He'll do the same thing to Fields Jr

I heard the same thing from Hughie Fury.

Fury has already defeated a crude slugger in Chisora. Perez is also crude, though a smidge quicker with his hands early on in the fight. He looked gassed over three rounds though, so I don't see anything Fury can't deal with there.

Quite fancy Fury in this one. Perez looked decent in prizefighter, but I don't think he beat anyone that night that would have troubled Fury. it was hardly the strongest field that night either. It should be a decent scrap if it comes off though, Fury looks like he's really starting to step up the level of competition. Good for him.

Perez is quicker than Chisora and he hits harder. Not only that but Perez also seems to know how to throw a straight punch. Something Chisora seems to have no idea how to do. The few times he got Fury in somewhat difficult situation he just started throwing a bunch of wild reckless punches. Gassing himself in the process. Perez I see being more composed in that situation
