Elvis Presley - Promised Land, originally by Chuck Berry. Hell ANYTHING Elvis covered he owned!

Jimmi Hendrix - All Along The Watch Tower, originally by Bob Dylan.

The Beach Boys - I Can Hear Music, originally by Ronnie Spector & The Ronettes.

I've always preferred the Elvis version of Always on my mind over the Willie Nelson version.

Yes Andre I'm talking about George Jones the white country singer.

Fever as done by Elvis is phenomenal, he had the crowd in the palm of his hand!

As for rap covers: Ben Folds 'Bitches Ain't Shit', Nina Gordon 'Straight Outta Compton', The Gourds 'Gin and Juice', Dynamite Hack 'Boyz N Da Hood' are all very good and there's one guy that does a cover of 'What's Your Fantasy' that's really good too.

Lol. I'm not a fan of GGD either. But I think they did a better a job than the original.

"Long Haired Country Boy" is done better by Every Mother's Nightmare than by The Charlie Daniel's Band. And somebody did a hilarious folk, acoustic version of "Boys In The Hood."

I prefer Bowie's Wild is the wind over Nina Simone's.

I also prefer Iggy Pop's version of China Girl over that of Bowie's. Bowie's was just too synthy and lacked Iggy's drive.
