It's good but Eusebio Pedroza has to be on there... Between he and Sandy it's la creme de la creme.
    Bennie Briscoe anyone?
    Agapito Sanchez?
    Paddy DeMarco?
Does the name Fritzie Zivic mean anything?
    Mustafa Hamsho?

Also it's one thing to blantantly throw low a la Golota and it's another to throw to the body and accidently hit low. I personally don't think Abner belongs there as he's always shown to be a body puncher.

SMH at Barrera being on here, as the references used don't make him dirty. Starting with the head slam on Naz. I mean your tangled up Naz and he are struggling what was he suppose to do let Naz get the upper hand? Also I never knew fighting in press conf. meant you were a dirty fighter. The only dirty tactic I can recall is the JMM punch when he was down.

I'd take Hopkins, Holyfield, Mares, Barrera for starters and replace in any order Zivic, Galento, Pedroza, Sanchez, Ad Wolgast, Greb etc. Seems like its mainly geared at 'todays' fighters or names. Shoot I'd put Echols, James butler on there. Miranda could of won the distinction in one fight alone. Some day people will stop making excuses for Tyson, he's a big boy...he wasn't driven to any break down that wasn't already brewing and that is clear from his pattern of fouls when it got deep at times. And I'd give more credit to the ass whipping he was taking vs Holyfield more than head butts.

I would put Hop up higher. He is a master at dirty fighting, even taking it to a practiced skill. Mares is dirty because a ref assisted him by not calling any low blows, so really he just was smart and took advantage of a good situation. Hop is great because I've seen him pull another fighter into position so that the ref is not in position to see Hop land the low blow, land the low shot, then turn the fighter so that the ref can see him retaliate by going low. If that isn't good enough, Hop pours salt in the wound by over reacting to the shot and pleading his case to the ref as if he can't possibly understand why the guy would do that to him. Hop is great at every single thing he does in the ring, and fighting dirty is no exception.

Fritzie Zivic would resent being left off this list. So would "Mysterious" Billy Smith; Barbados Joe Walcott didn't want to fight him again because of all times he was bitten on top of the head. (Smith was 5'11", Walcott 5'0"), and Smith was DQ'd 14 times.
Zivic and Greb were from the same neighborhood and Fritzie resented not being the dirtiest fighter on his block.

Mares is not an intentionally dirty fighter imo

How did someone who was 5 foot find himself fighting someone 5 foot 11?

Barrera had his share of moments with McKinney and Hamed headslam but he does not belong on this list. What about Norwood.....Tito certainly had his moments as well but hard to say.

Marciano was dirty...I don't care what brock says! When you smash Walcott with a left when he's already KO'd and beat Archie Moore down with a forearm smash then you're a dirty fighter.

Mike Tyson was dirty: Savarese, Botha, he was known for hitting guys on the hip bones to slow them down.

Cotto: Judah, he also hits guys on the hip bone too.

Ali (holding with all his weight on the neck of Frazier, backhand jab), Lewis (holding and hitting), The Klitschko's (swiping the guard down, extending the jab), any GREAT fighter bends the rules.

"Man, he tryin' to break my dick!" - said Zab Judah in the Cotto fight....I'm just saying.

Oh Roberto Duran too! BLATANT low blow to win vs Buchanan.

Judah has got a history of feigning low blows after the Khan fight.
