had no idea how good they were at the time. Was a Paul Mariner fan first and it went from there (I used to win with him all the time in the 'nearest footie card to the wall wins' game
watched the FA cup final on tv as a 6 year old unaware of what it was. Just thought Ipswich were on tv

With Bobby Robson they were a mighty force and is the reason why I went for Nottingham Forest when Clough was in charge, I should have gone for Liverpool, it was like choosing Beta Max over VHS.
