Well I never liked Joe Calzaghe simply because I hated his slapping style. Also his biggest wins were against a 43 year old Hopkins, who many argue deserved the decision, and a shot RJJ.

I never liked Tito Trinidad neither and I love watching the Hopkins, Wright and Jones fights.

    De La Hoya

Got tired of people worshipping the ground he walked on. Found him to be a fake, enamoured of his own image, shamelessly looking for smaller fighters to beat up on to "build his legacy", even more shamelessly promoted by the major networks who were desperate to find the next all-American boxing icon (and he happened to have cross-cultural appeal, so much the better).

Eventually, the fakeness came through, and his strategy backfired. He got his ass whupped by the smaller Pacquaio, quit on his stool, and whimpered into the sunset.

    Oh well...

Hoya was old and drained against Pacman. He was nothing more than a walking Zombie so that loss doesn't count.

I loved it when he schooled the shit out of Tito though, making him look so foolish.. That's my favorite Hoya moment..

"That loss doesn't count"? My, you sound like a little kid, taking his ball back 'cause he can't play. And "schooled the shit out of Tito"? Sorry my frustrated little friend. Three Las Vegas (Mexican backyard) judges didn't agree with you.

Something must've moved Fernando Vargas to famously say before his fight with Tito: "THIS Mexican... won't run."

Facts are facts.. Hoya was old and drained and any objective boxing fan would agree...

lmfao.. You must put alot of stock into these incompetent boxing judges... IF you truly believe that Tito won, then you dont know shit about boxing.. Learn how to score a fight, squirt..

The fight could've gone either way... they chose to pick Tito. DLH himself admits to giving the fight away by running like a scared rabbit the last 3-4 rounds. Had the fight been in PR, I'd have less of an argument. But the fight was in the Golden Boy's backyard. So tell me genius... how does an undefeated "icon" get a fight taken away from him in his own backyard, on national television, with his fawning TV commentators looking on?

Kelly Pavlik - he's one sided and has a bad attitude. He was HANDED stardom and he pissed it away.

Bernard Hopkins - Talented, but with all the racism and ugly fighting I really dislike him.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. - Great fighter, but such an asshole...he could have been celebrated like Roy Jones Jr, but he chose "the dark side"

Shane Mosley - I just never really liked the guy. I didn't like that he was gifted the rematch vs Oscar, I didn't like that he never fought Trinidad, I didn't like that he waited so long to fight Vargas, but he did beat Margarito like a drum and that's good.

Floyd Mayweather - I hate the racial stuff. It just irks me for some reason although I know it has been a part of boxing for a long time.

    Bernard Hopkins - same.

Yeah... gotta admit we don't have as many quality fighters as up in YOUR neck of the woods. I mean, you're in MASS, right? Otherwise known as the "Cradle of World Championship Fighters"?

    The defense rests its case.

    -Amhir Khan-
Don’t like how he talks about himself as if he was the greatest thing out there. Sure, he has shown some improvement. Has some speed, decent power, good legs, etc. His chin is still questionable. TV commentators praise him as the greatest thing out there.

    -Manny Pacquiao-
I was ok with him until I heard his questionable contradicting excuses to not take a random blood test (afraid of needles, blood makes him nervous, cannot train properly for weeks after a blood test, a nurse can hurt him if she doesn’t do it properly, etc.). After that, I started to dislike him. Can’t ignore that he has speed, stamina, etc. but then again, I am not even sure if he has those qualities naturally or because of the things his trainer Ariza may put in his veins. Then you have all these tv commentators praising him as well as all the casual fans but nobody questioning all the reasons he has come up with to not take random blood tests.

    -Lennox Lewis-
I never thought he was the greatest thing out there. Had a questionable jaw/chin. If he got connected he would get all exhausted and sloppy. I just never thought he was a dominating force in the division as Mike Tyson was for many years or other heavyweights from the mid 90s and before.

-Any Asian guy that refuses to fight outside his country-
They have to leave the arena in a stretcher to really give the decision to the visitor.

I used to dislike SRL. Great skills; probably a nice guy, but I wasnt into the amount of tickets he had hanging off himself back in the day. Strange because Ali did it all too, probably worse but that was Ali that was actually his persona, I could handle that much easier ,and loved the guy I suppose his was more jest like and right over the top.
So I have no idea why I felt that way .
I like him now though, either he is older and more mellow or I am.

    Ooh good thread.

    There's a few....

Nonito 'I defeated Darchinyan nine years ago so am a bonafide p4p great right now, which I confirm every time I beat the snot out of another tiny little man child' Donaire

Oscar ' Behind my fake smile and nice white teeth I am really a cold psycopath with less human empathy than Dexter Morgan. I like to dress up like a lady, and then put the lotion in the basket' De La Hoya

Ricky ' Please laugh at my jokes because I'm fat and jolly and you know I'm desperately unhappy inside ' Hatton

There are others but these annoy me the most.
