I thought Ibeabuchi COULD HAVE been great....but I really can't say that he was one of the greats just because he narrowly beat a younger Tua and that feather fisted Chris Byrd.

Ibeabuchi had really good speed and obviously good stamina and a chin from heaven. (It's not often that you see someone eat Tua's hooks over and over but I really felt and feel as did the HBO staff at the time, that their fight could have gone either way.

As far as Lewis and Ibeabuchi goes....it's crazy in my book to assume that Ibeabuchi had no chance against Lewis. After all, Rahman knocked Lewis TFOut and he is very mediocre. Oliver McCall also put Lewis on the floor. As a matter of fact, if Lewis proved one thing to me it was that you didn't have to be exceptional to beat him.

I really don't see why Ibeabuchi couldn't have done the same.

The thing that I don't like about him though is that people seem to forget why he is where he is. The one thing that I can say for Lewis is that no matter how hard he got hit....he never went off and drove his car into pillars or raped women and locked himself in a fucking bathroom.
