1. If people evolved from monkeys or apes then why are there still monkeys and apes?
2. If we did evolve A) What started life to begin with B) How/Why did we evolve? C) How was Earth the ONLY place in our solar system that has life? D) Basically if life is simple, and just a matter of coincidence then how did we appear here and then for us to evolve from apes too....what are the odds?
3. If the Big Bang happened A) What was there before the Big Bang B) Why was there a Big Bang?

Basically I'm asking for a scientific explanation of "What was there before there was anything and why was it there? Who put it there? What put the wheels in motion for there to be life, Earth, etc?"

Totally comparable IMO.

1. It is so obvious. We are of the same genetic tree with a common ancestor. We are not chimps, but we do share a common historical link. Do you seriously not believe in evolution? That's Bilbo talk, my good friend.

2. Clearly life forms under certain geological conditions. It is quite remarkable, but it is quite apparent that we didn't suddenly materialise as two rather naked and human beings. The only way to explain what we have is through evolutionary science. Anything else is mere fantasy talk.

3. The big bang is something that the greatest minds are still working on. Clearly nobody knows for sure why it happened or what was before. But it is extremely arrogant to think that anything godlike or directly connected to humanity was in any way behind it. We know the big bang happened and that's all we have, that's much more than what we have supporting the case of the godlike figure found in all of todays man made religions.

But there is NOTHING to suggest the existence of any higher 'creator' and certainly in none of the biblical senses of the term.

Science is making impressive progress. Religion has made no headway in 2000 years, the same empty arguments backed up by nothing. No facts, no evidence. Nothing.
