Adamek vs Haye is the fight we should have gotten. Vitali is going to end this very soon.

I'd like to see Vitali crush Haye first.

That stoppage was about 8 rounds too late

Good stoppage, let the warrior live to fight another day, pretty predictable fight.

See you folks later tonight for the replay, and Gamboa vs. Ponce.

    cheers

Great display from Vitali again. He is as dominant as any heavyweight in history.

It was a hopless cause for Adamek from the begining. Even if he was able to land his best shot flush, it would have had zero impact. He was too smal and 2 stone is the same as watching a light heavyweight wear down a welterweight. How much credit would you give the light heavyweight for that? He was just doing whats expected of him.

If David Haye wants any part of this monster us Brits should get behind him because it takes guts to fight Vitali.

Haye would get punished, similar style to just what happened then.

No surprise at all.. I think most people who thought Adamek would win thought this might be the the fight Vitali gets old in a round. That will be the concesus prediction until Vitali. Retires since he does have to slip at some point. I think most agree that is the only way he ever loses. The guy IMO is an all time great. All the credit to Adamek a true mans man and clear case of a 220lb man with a 300lb heart.

The question aside from "Who will Vitali fight next?" Should be "Who will Adamek fight next?"

I say Vitali should fight Valuev no ifs ands or buts.

Adamek should fight Haye or Povetkin those are good solid fights.

Agreed. A Povetkin vs Adamek fight would be absolutely great to watch. But i am sure the beating last night sent Adamek into retirement.

It was bad, but not sure adamek feels any worse than he did after the briggs fight. If he's retiring it won't be due to the beating

after seeing that masterful performance by vitali. i dont think helenius can beat him. and i was thinking he might be able to, before tonight.
it would be a good scrap tho. total props to adamek!!!
such heart. he makes all those other scared bigger heavies look like pussies.
He went into the match a warrior and came out one. His fans should be proud. The Klitschko brothers are just a notch above everyone else. That's all there is to say at this point.

Vitali is a bad, bad man. Vitali would be a tough fight for any heavyweight ever. It's not just his size, but that helps, he has deceptively good defense.

Why a British sport fan would ever get behind Haye is beyond me. Please explain that to me.

Agreed. I would like to see Valuev v. Vitali. I wouldn't mind seeing Vitali versus the winner of the Chambers/Thompson fight either.

Adamek has a hell of a chin by the way. Damn. Adamek and Povetkin would be a solid heavyweight fight.

How were the tv numbers in Europe for this fight? They sold over 40000 seats?
