To be fair to Bigmike, he is not far from the truth.

The Klit brothers are both very limited boxers who dominate the division purely because of the sheer size of them. They are not exactly the most exciting fighters the world has ever seen either. With the heavyweights being boxing's flagship division, it doesn't really help the sport to have 2 giants beating up on guys who are giving away 2 stone or more and a huge height and reach disadvantage.

A Superheavyweight division should be introduced to stop farces like last night happening anymore.

No one can deny that boxing isn't in good health at the moment. There was a time when everyone knew who the heavyweight champion of the world was, but no one who isn't a pretty hardcore boxing fan could tell you much about the division at the moment.

I've always been a huge boxing fan, but my interest has been in decline for years. My gripes are the usual gripes that everyone has, ie ridiculous fragmented "world titles" that mean nothing and allow champions to go almost their entire career avoiding the best in their weight division and even when big fights do happen it usually only occurs when one the fighters involved is past their best and looking for a payday.

You still get terrible hometown decisions like the Cox and Prescott fights ended in and all manner of other things that just kill the sport and make a mockery of the whole thing.

Here in the UK, there is no boxing at all on terrestrial television and that doesn't help either.
