There is no "set in stone" rule for weight to height ratios. More to do with body shape. ie: How much fat you are caring around, how much muscle definition there is.

Most Pro at 5'7" are around the welterweight to light middle weight.

    Between 147 and 154 lbs

But like I said, it depends on your body shape.

I'm kinda broad around the top and I have muscle but also a little bit of fat. Kinda like a Chuck Liddell build.

    Haha!

So I should be looking to aim for Welterweight, about 145-150 pounds?

At your height. That would be the start.

That way you are not going against guys who have too big of a reach or height on you.

Oh and find a boxing trainer in you local area. He should be able to tell you where you need to be weight wise just from looking at you.
