Obvious this robbery was set up in order to make sure Con will never, ever have to face Prescott again. Shameful behavior.

Khan would smash Prescott it's obvious. Prescotts power is overratted, hes not got the stamina to go 12 rounds with a top 140 fighter and I don't see him beating any top 10 140 fighter.

Prescott power is overrated. But that don't matter. Cuz Con chin can't handle it anyway

I thought Prescott won quite clearly.

There was a few swing rounds that could of made it closer on the cards for McCloskey but i don't think he done enough to get a win, maybe a draw at most imo.

Prescott proved to me he actually had some boxing ability and McCloskey showed he had heart and determination by making a good comeback in the second half of the fight.

I like them both a bit more now. They made a good fight, i hope there is a rematch.

115-112 Prescott. A fight of 2 halves basically.

12th round was an interesting one to score, how did people have that? I gave it Prescott cos Mcloskey looked out on his feet like he could get knocked down at any moment. Most of the round (certainly the 1st minute) was good stuff from mcloskey though, thats a swing round imo. Prescott still wins by 1pt for me if mcloskey gets the 12th however.

Not the worst decision ive ever seen cos it was close BUT a UD for Mcloskey is fuckin suss imo. I think thats a very dodgy outcome for all 3 judges to go with him.

Only reason Con was able to handle Maidana's power is cuz Maidana doesn't know how to punch. Everything he throws is wide and looping. Con could see it coming a mile away and could brace for it. I don't care what any so-called expert or Con groupie says. I have no doubt that if Maidana knew how to throw a straight punch he would of had Con out of there.

Same with Prescotts punches though really the punches that got khan out of there were wild and loopy. It just showed how cocky/arrogant khan was back then, I have no doubt that khan would beat Prescott now and are you telling me that Maidana doesn't punch as well as Prescott? I think its common knowledge Maidana punches a lot better than Prescott.

Obviously some of people wants to knock Khans out, well im not fan of his, i guess second meetng with Prescott well be different story, as long Prescott keeps winning or having a belt, there should be a rematch, as of now Amir moved on and career/money wise Prescott has nothing really to offer.

yeah the 12th wasnt straight forward, mclousky won most of the round but really was gone at the end

i thought precott won 6 out of the first 7, mclousky then won 8 - 11, and which ever way you want to score the 12th

if mclousky won the 12th then for me it would have been a draw, but then there is the Knockdown to consider

it wasnt a robbery tho, perhaps the judges did slightly favour the home town fighter, theres no need to chuck a wobbler about it tho coz that is inevitable

I've watched the fight twice now and I cannot see how anyone with a score card could see that as a win for McKolskey. He debatably won 4 of the last 5, he couldn't have won the last round as he landed half as many punches and looked like he was going to fall over at any momment.

I think it's such a sad sport when we have to just accept it, the fact the decision was wrong, but it's home town bias and is just part of it. It drives me just as mad each and every time it hapens.

I'd love to see the actual cards for the judges, I cannot see how Prescott could have been given anything less than 115 and as for McCloskey, including a 10-8 round, that means he must have lost only 3 other rounds in the whole fight. He lost all of them bar 4 IMO.

I don't like either fighter, so don't even know why I'm that bothered!

The official scoring was close 114-113, which is 7 rounds to McCloskey and 5 rounds Prescott with the knockdown. I do not want to see Prescott fight Khan, I would much prefer it to be Bradley or Maidana.

Maidana is a better fighter and a bigger puncher than Prescott but it doesn't change the fact that:

I know Khan has "bigger fish to fry" but doesn't he want to avenge his only loss which was so amazingly one sided.

Khan could easily outbox Prescott in a rematch but i don't want a fantasy matchup, i wanna see him do it.

He hasn't got a fight for December yet, Although Prescott wasn't awarded the correct decision the other night, i think Khan should still go for it.

Side note: Had to post some pictures, they give me a good lol.

Its a shame Prescott didnt get the decision which he should have got, cos that Khan rematch was very very likely. Wont happen now, no way

What bigger fish does Khan have to fry though? I could see Matthysse/Bradley/Mayweather, but who else?
