What a fantastic result by the Irish, and they absolutely deserved it. Australi are many people's favourites for the World Cup, but the Irish showed how to beat them - take them on up front, smash their pack and don;t turn the ball over. Great result.

If (and it's a big if, because we are playing the WHOLE of Samoa next) Wales go through as runners up, it looks like we may face the Irish in the Quarter Finals.

Yup, what x just said. Was following the game on BBC text updates on the website, and from 70 to 80 minutes took at least half an hour. Now its more important than ever to beat fiji and samoa tomorrow.

Wow, ground out a tough win over the amazing Samoans. Real attritional stuff and we finally closed out a game professionally and had a few lucky bounces go our way. We will definitely beat Namibia and with a bit of luck the Fijians will have been ruined by what South Africa did to them.

Ironically, it will suit us better to come second in the group, and then get into the half of the draw without New Zealand, South Africa and Australia in it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed as we are doing really well in the Group of Death. Ireland in the quarters is a 50:50 game!!!!

Personally I thought that Wales looked very error strewn, and should have had it wrapped up much earlier. Too many dropped passes and ball lost in the tackle, and there has to be an alternative to Andy Powell.

He's like something out of a Saw film or a Westboro baptist church. He's got people locked away in a dungeon somewhere I'm sure of it.

I feel a bit sorry forTindall. I mean he's married to royalty and she currently has a great body. Nice strong legs. But she does have that horsey royal face that will only get worse with age.

He'll end up with a Camillalike eventually so can't blame him making the most of his fame now. It's basically just storing up good memories to use later. He's being industrious that's all.

I fancy we might be doing a number on the Irish next week too. Still spilling too much ball, but it seems most sides are this world cup.
