Morales is faded, but just months ago the same Morales almost beat Maidana with one eye shut for 12 rounds.

IMO he should have gotten the decision against Maidana.

It very easily could have gone for him. It was a big performance by him considering Maidana beat Ortiz, and had Khan reeling late in their fight.

Morales had an eye shut in round1 and many think he should have won. Absolutely amazing. He is one of my favorite fighters. When he gets inducted into the Hall of Fame in Canastota, I will be going that weekend.

Gomez normally fights at welterweight. In the ring with a kid who rehydrated to 168. Bad news tonight for Gomez. Especially considering he is at a hand speed and foot speed disadvantage to boot.

If you are going to jab, then freaking jab!!! That tap-tap 'double jab' and pivot to the right led to Cano eating right hands like M&Ms...and he kept doing it. I honestly believe that the people 'training' these young guys should be arrested.

Sorry, pivot left. And you never wipe a cut with a towel. Opens it up. Swab it, press it, don't wipe it. And what was Cano champion of?

he was wiping the blood off his face and pretty much after he did that the cut wasn't bleeding out - he then applied the swab. you need to see what you're dealing with.

Certainly. Morales was there to be hit. But you've boxed, so let me ask you this...Can't you see a right hand coming for miles and miles? And, if you do something and it keeps going wrong, shouldn't you stop doing it? Morales fought a smart fight that conserved his energy and he got through it with a stiff jab and a right hand that got stronger as Cano became more willing to get hit with it.
Good fight-glad to see Morales win. I watched him workout a few times years ago. (he was 19-21) He fought smart.

Alfonso to shock the world now people. Canelo being 1-10 on favourite is absurd.

This will be a war and Canelo will need to have paid off at least two judges to win this on the cards.

They won't take any chances however, and will have paid all three, along with the referee.

Gomez to get shafted in a fight he's winning imo.

not everyone is complete/special at 19-21
there's always a reason you got hit
you see some BUT if that's the case & we use your logic fighters would never get caught with right hands..or any punch for that matter.
