Stop listening to the announcers and look closer Gomez won that 2nd round.

well he was certainly tagging morales along the way..
Certainly. Morales was there to be hit. But you've boxed, so let me ask you this...Can't you see a right hand coming for miles and miles? And, if you do something and it keeps going wrong, shouldn't you stop doing it? Morales fought a smart fight that conserved his energy and he got through it with a stiff jab and a right hand that got stronger as Cano became more willing to get hit with it.
Good fight-glad to see Morales win. I watched him workout a few times years ago. (he was 19-21) He fought smart.
not everyone is complete/special at 19-21
there's always a reason you got hit
you see some BUT if that's the case & we use your logic fighters would never get caught with right hands..or any punch for that matter.

2-1 Gomez why the hell is Saul Alvarez trying to do the shoulder roll.

Gomez fucking tattooed him there. Did he miss a single right hand?

Alvarez would be down 3-0 if not for the flash KD.

Gomez is making alvarez work. I thought alvarez was going to have it all his own way.

The odds on this fight were stupid. Gomez is so disrespected.

He's putting on a great effort here just like I knew he would.

If it wasn't for the flash knockdown he would 3-0 now.

Of course in reality he is trailing by 4 at this point as Alvarez only needs to be standing after 12 rounds to win the decision.

Of course any punches on the beltline will see Gomez DQ'd also.

I have no idea. It's obviously not working.

I have it 28-28, same as Lederman. The weird KD is the only thing keeping Canelo from being down 30-27 at this point.

Alvarez is throwing punches like he's in a fucking toughman contest. He's not moving his head (or his feet) at all either.

These pre-fight instructions are so badly staged.

I can't understand a fooking word this shreiking banshee is saying (sounds like he's making Gomez sound like Frazier in 4th though) but Gomez cannot break wind, its known

I expect what he did 1st half with Soto-Karass good hand and boxing but he'll stand eventually, he'll absorb and unless Alvarez is a media creation I think he takes Gomez to the body

38-37 Gomez on my card, same as Lederman.

Canelo is waiting, letting Gomez outwork him by alot. Gomez's right hand is landing way too easily. A guy with some power who is a legit junior middle would have hurt Canelo by now if that many right hands landed.

Not really mate. It's only the blind hating of Alfonso that makes everyone think he's crap.

I've been saying for week's he'd beat him.

He's a solid fighter. You don't beat Gatti, Castill and Litzou if you can't fight.
