I think an argument could be made for Ortiz winning round 2, but he was definitely down on the cards. It was a relatively competitive fight though, at least by Mayweather standards.

Thought he was losing, but he was starting to get to Floyd in the last two rounds, which is why Floyd pussyed out and sucker punched Ortiz. Was getting uncomfortable for him. He'll never fight Manny. He knows he can't win if he was going to be that cowardly against Ortiz.

Yeah I'll agree he was still in the fight, but that was due to the hope he was going to land when he waded in with punches when Floyd was against the ropes. I don't think he was ever going to land cleanly on Mayweather with his head hunting though, and after the head butt I turned to my Girlfriend and said he'll KO him now. Sure enough he did.

After the accidental headbutt floyd knew he had to cheat to get ortiz out of there as ortiz was constantly pressing the action.

2nd round to Ortiz, the rest to FM. There is no doubt that Mayweather earlier than i believed before the fight started to dominate it. The gap between Mayweather/Pacquaio and Ortiz/Berto is huge indeed.

i would have given the first to ortiz and that's being generous. before the headbutt thing, ortiz hit mayweather pretty good(muscling him) maybe twice before getting him in the ropes. what a disappointing ending to something that was getting interesting.
