As much as I dislike Larry... What wpuld you say to a guy 50 years younger than in your face like that. No need from floyd and tbh the frustration probably showed he knew the fight ended in farce and was embarassed.

I generally HATE Merchant. Take's 5 hours to say anything, and then it's usually some BS that he thought was funny but was lame. I dont think thats it. Marchant and Mayweather cleary dont get on. Marchant doesn't like Mayweather's style of fighting and because of this they have no respect for eachother. As usual when someone asks Mayweather a question he doesn't 'feel' he has to answer he just ignores it and says somthing else. Merchant kept pushing him and Floyd got pissed off. It's been going on for years between them.

Seriously though, Larry actually had no factual basis to go at Floyd at that angle other than to simply push his buttons. Which he ALWAYS seems to want to do with Floyd... Which I don't quite understand... So I just assume it's a corporate policy

Floyd is a walking piece of shit, and Larry had the balls to call him out, just like he did to lennox lewis after the vitali fight. lennox was a douche leading up to that fight even saying "he didn't have to train to fight a bum!" Larry was right then, and he is right now!
I'm glad we have such an honest commentator in Larry. Everyone else seems to be total asskissers except Jim Gray. He is pretty fearless too.

reading the post's, most people seem to think Mayweather didnt do anything illegal, so what is Larry Merchant attacking him for? Doing somthing 'cheap'? He seemed to forgive Ortiz' blatant headbutt excuse (mayweather moved forward to quickly) without question, even though it was nonsense?
