Victor Ortiz vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr.

This is boxing. He hugged Mayweather, then touched gloves. He then tried to hug him AGAIN. What's wrong with this guy. Sure it's unsportsmanlike to do but this is a violent sport. When someone is hugging and touching that often in a fight it means they want out. This sport is very brutal and if you do something stupid like that you can't blame anyone but yourself.

Don't think anyone on here at all will deny ultimately it lied it Ortiz's hands to look after himself...

But i've seen 100's of fights where fighters have overtly apologized for an illegal blow or some sort, and pretty much all of those fights would have ended much differently if their opponent took that opportunity to sucker punch them while they are in the midst of trying to show good sportsmanship...

Floyd would have won anyway yes, Cortez couldn't have done anything about it, yes, Ortiz should have been defending himself and not apologized at all... Ortiz LOST himself the fight... Floyd took it in an unnecessary manner....

Most people hate what Floyd did.. Some are defending though, but I bet even they would have preferred to see him just go on and win in his usual fashion of continually dominating them with speed, skill, timing, and everything else that makes Floyd undefeated.... Even if Floyd just settled for the first tap to say "hey f*cker, you've apologized, you've kissed me and hugged me, now here is how it's going,,, let's get back to the f'n fight".... I would have prefered that personally...

But defend that behavior all you like, just when it becomes so common place in boxing that people no longer apologize or show sportsmanship for something ill done in the ring, then we'll have you guys to thank..

Why do these boxers have to hug and touch gloves all the time, it is sickening and they should do all that after the fight not during. Hopefully this puts an end to this nonsense.

But Mayweather should have at least respected the fans who paid to watch the fight. They wanted to see a fight, not a sucker punch from the self-proclaimed best boxer to an underdog idiot.

Oppps, my bad. Why am I even saying this? Floyd never respects the fans or anybody.

And why am I even bitching about this? I didn't pay to watch the fight ............ so just ignore what I said.
