Of course I was rude to you AFTER you made your little song and dance about being 'right' in the loosest, most vage way possible.
What about BEFORE though? You seem to hace no concept of linear time.

Brockton was right. It might not have been in the way anyone could have pictured, but Ortiz couldn't beat the count in the 4th. I need to put my socks in the washing machine, dry them out and consider the most effective way of cooking them.

Good call Brockton!
Cheers -![]()
I see you just joined--welcome my friend! Yes, really! Been here since before 2003, and seen many-a-MOD moderated thread. My post above deals with such. So, once more to answer your mystified question: YES, REALLY.Mate it's just an internet forum. I mean, seriously...
..really?![]()
Cheers and welcome aboard, mate.
Cool click for Mars-ax--- a man with great character and very friendly as well!![]()
I was actually logging in to give you props for your flukey call but after this gem you don't get them.
All I said was that if the fight ended within 4 rounds, it would be as ludicrous as your call of Adamek frustrating Vitali to a DQ via head buts.
The fight did end within 4 rounds and it WAS as ludicrous as Vitali losing to Adamek because of a headbutt... I can't help that offending you or not.
You weren't correct enough and I wasn't 'mean' enough to warrent a whole thread... but you've clearly seen different and that's really not my problem.![]()
He was right about the round and that's about it.
Other than the farce happening coincidently during 4th round literally nothing else was true, Ortiz wasn't being outclassed, out fought, beat up or beat down. It was a fairly competative fight. The weird way it ended just happened in the 4th... It could have been any round. 1 in 12, just like a broken clock.
He gets as much credit from me as a guy who won the lottery does for picking the right number.
Fair play to bb, he got the right round... I have to give him that. But if you have to make a thread rubbing it in the face of people who disagreed with you because you picked the right round by fluke then you're more than a bit sad.
The reason I rubbed it in your face AdamGB was because you basically told me I dont make sense and in a very mean and sarcastic way as well. I dont really care that I was right about the Round 4 KO. I've been right before at times and never posted anything about it. But this time I remembered your vehement disagreement and rudeness PERTAINING SPECIFICALLY to this Ortiz fight and my vieeews on it, so therefore I felt it appropriate to point it out.
Miles has always been a gentleman and is my kind of guy. Eloquent, fair, never mean or demeaning or boorish. I was just joking with him about eating his socks. And he knows it. We have had a good online repoire for many years now going back to I think 2003-4 when Saddo's was in a different format, and have never had any friction with him. With me and Miles its good clean fun, nothing personal or malicious, but with you AdamGB, correct me if Im wrong, with you it sure feels a bit mean and unnecessarily sarcastic. We've had that a few weeks ago too, and I thought we resolved it amicably, but here with this Ortiz fight run-up, we have it again. I'll admit youre not quite as insulting as ElTerribleMorales has been, and you did----GRUDGINGLY--- acknowledge that I called the fight right. I thank you for that. Let's start all over and try to avoid this stuff. I'll take my share of the blame as well. As Andre said it sure takes 2 to tango.
