    Dave,

Where is the gif of Ortiz billy goating Mayweather and then when Floyds hands are down and and he is defenseless Vic takes 2 more shots at him?

Ortiz intent was to but him and gain advantage, people can put 20 more cutesy gifs on the screen and it dosent change the fact that Ortiz had been and blatantly used his head as a weapon. Getting a point deduction my rear end!! He was trying to hurt Floyd illegally Mayweathers body language never suggested he forgave Ortiz or welcomed 25 hugs.. PBF looked like a dog with his teeth showing growling the whole time and Vic finally got bit Mayweather posture was far from friendly!

There isn't a gif but if i could find one i would of put it up.

I understand that Ortiz was a dick at that point and the constant apologies weren't going to help him. Floyd was pissed and that was clear but he lost credit for this win as soon as he resorted to dirty tactics himself. I know it was legal but it was a cheap shot.

Instead of being the better man he was a dick himself.

It ended up ruining what was going to be a good fight.

The street in Floyd rose above all else. Ortiz did a dumbass dirty thing. Ortiz is another rung on the ladder and will be just another fighter who came and went. Mayweather is an elite, the best we have to offer and a face of this sport. Does he owe us or boxing anything...nah. He comes first and he'll yell it in your face. Its about him, fuck everyone else. But it was and is a punk move done by street kids in pissing fits better suited for an episode of Jerry Springer or slap fight on a corner.

Watch that clip, Mayweather is very calculated and feigns "yeh yeh its cool kid" as he raises shoulders and subtly glances at Cortez to see him looking elsewhere...then he cracks him. Dumb Ortiz...cheap Floyd. He didnt need that shit. All this eye for an eye horseshit..this ain't some video shoot or rowdy reality show or bar room. The professional ring should mean just that and we can't totally lose sight of showing a little class.

I kinda agree with Paulie Malignaggi's thoughts on this:

    By Rick Reeno
MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Former champion Paulie Malignaggi was ringside to observe the controversial ending to Saturday night's welterweight bout between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Victor Ortiz, the WBC champion. After Ortiz intentionally used his head in the fourth round, he was penalized a point by referee Joe Cortez. Ortiz tried to calm the situation by going over to hug Mayweather, but when he pulled away from that hug, with his hands down, Mayweather fired off two punches that knocked him out.
Malignaggi saw nothing wrong with Mayweather's actions, because Ortiz made it a street fight. Ortiz started a street fight and should have kept it a street fight, Malignaggi said.
"I thought the rule was 'protect yourself at all times' last time I checked. I feel bad for Victor and I'm sure he trained hard for the fight. He took the fight to that point. Mayweather was acting like any grown man, he was pissed off. That was three intentional headbutts I counted. You can't take the fight to the streets and then says 'oh, I want to hug you now because you're mad.' A grown man is not going to take that into consideration. He's going to say 'you headbutted me, f**k you, I don't want to be friends,'" Malignaggi told BoxingScene.com.
"You can't take it one way and then go the other. It was a little frustrating to see Victor act that way because if you're going to take it there, you better keep it there. You take it to a dirty place and turn it into a street fight, you better keep it there."

LOVE Merchant turning to the camera. Really funny.

Floyd acted within the rules, Ortiz didn't. That's where I come out anyway.

I've made it pretty well known here that I don't like Floyd Mayweather. Don't like his attitude in and out of the ring... personally thinks he's done his share of ducking, while taking care of his precious "0"... and has been in some downright BORING fights.

But here's where I distance myself from being just a Floyd-hater. Last night was nobody's fault but Victor "WTF Were You Thinking" Ortiz himself.

First, he launches himself like a missile at Floyd's chin. Probably the most obvious headbutt I've ever seen. THEN... not content with kissing and hugging Floyd the first time... he goes to do it a SECOND time. AFTER Joe Cortes had given the "go-ahead" to continue fighting. Floyd, obviously still pissed about the headbutt, connects with a good left hook.... but not quite a knockout punch. So Victor "Rocket Scientist" Ortiz, with HIS HANDS STILL DOWN, looks over at Cortes as if to whine: "Floyd hit me." So Mayweather does the only thing he CAN do. He hits him with a right and knocks him out.

    Conclusions:
    1. Victor came off like the village idiot. Hey kid.... save the "I love you man" shit for Bud Light commercials. You're in a boxing match, not "Blind Date".

    2. Why all the hate for Cortes (as usual)? He promptly took a well-deserved point off Ortiz... then motioned them to continue fighting. How was HE to know Ortiz still wanted some "kissie-poo" from Floyd? Cortes was just as taken by surprise as the rest of us.

    3. Did Floyd deprive us fans from a good fight? Sure. But it was hardly his fault. He's a fighter and he's being paid to try to win. He saw an opening... he took it. It wasn't the most sportsman-like thing to do, but remember... he had just gotten the mother of all headbutts. No amount of smooching from Ortiz was going to fix his broken lip.

And while I'm at it.... what about the Merchant incident? What a riot !! That was almost as good as the fight itself. Again... I'm not applauding what Mayweather did. But it's painfully obvious the guy is carrying a giant chip on his shoulder when it comes to the press and their criticism of him. So when Merchant put him in a corner, Floyd lashed out. Was it right? Probably not. But it's probably not that difficult to go off at old Larry. He's (Larry) probably saying to himself, "Hell... I don't need this shit. I could be sitting in a bar somewhere downing scotch-and-sodas."

Finally, it's too bad the fight ended like this. But I put the blame squarely on Ortiz's very childish and immature shoulders.

Ortiz is a fine fighter. But fuck him. Gave the fool way to many chances. Bottom line is he's to fucking soft. I had no problem with his head butt. Do what you have to do. The first hug and apology was whatever. Your sorry. Fine. Get it out the way. The 2nd attempt was annoying. Great. Now you got knocked out. Dumb ass. Would of gave him another pass eventually. The constant smiling afterwards and his post fight interview were irritating as fuck. But again they were brushed off. I've accepted the fact that Ortiz is a fucking weirdo. It was further comments afterwards that I read on Yahoo Sports that I can't ignore.

“I was looking at Joe and he said ‘break’ or something and I’m like, huh?” Ortiz said. “Whatever. Bottom line is I had fun. It was fun.”

Really? You had fun losing and getting knocked the fuck out? Man, fuck you. There is no way possible I can ever bet a $1 on Ortiz ever again. If I was Erik Morales I would walk into Ortiz dressing room and crack him in the face. Morales would never say some bullshit like that

Floyd has always been like that "Take advantage of everything"

its solely Ortiz's fault Floyd just capitalized on it.

Why hug when you already kissed?
