those previous 2 posts above have perhaps misunderstood AdamGB's point. His point had nothing to do with "Floyd can't win with some people no matter what he does".
It actually had everything to do with Ortiz having shown Floyd a thing or 2 and Floyd deciding this ain't the night to do 12 rounds with this 24 yr old rough-houser.

Except he didn't. Ortiz showed nothing from the off and was losing every round. It was a shut out for Floyd and Victor got so hacked off about not being able to fight his fight that when Floyd gave him some mouth in the corner he headbutted him.

All that BS he came up with about Floyd moving his head forward is nonsese. He deliberately butted Floyd to try and cause damage and by doing so made it a dirty fight so Floyd sparked him.

To me it looked like Floyd was happy to win clean when it was a boxing match but when Ortiz decided to make it a street fight then Floyd proved he could win that too. Not for one second do I think that Floyd was scared of Ortiz's boxing ability - because lets face it, it was not a fair fight. Ortiz was so out of his depth that he had to resort to the street to try and stay in the fight and he only proved that he was out of his depth at that too - his trying to hug and kiss Floyd when he say that he'd pissed him off was just an embarrassment.

I see what Adam is saying, I just completely disagree. Ortiz showed nothing from the off and was losing every round. It was a shut out for Floyd and Victor got so hacked off about not being able to fight his fight that when Floyd gave him some mouth in the corner he head-butted him.

All last night proved is that Flyod and Manny are way above the rest and that the only legitimate fight left for either of them is the other. I won't hold my breath though...
