It was the money with roy jones as well then and all the other elite boxers.

Joe is a great boxer but lets be real. There were other fighters during his prime he avoided and thats why there is always that question mark over some of his choices.

    Justify peter manfredo...

That theory has been disproved many times on here mate. RJJ wasn't even at SMW for one, but I aint gonna go back over the politics with that fight. RJJ is not a great example if you are trying to pick on people's resumes coz his is shit.

I would like to see who you think Joe avoided between 1997 and 2008 at SMW.

I already stated joe was a great fighter fella..but it was obvious rjj went on for too long.

I just felt robbed that a few years before joe fought roy he said in his book he was way past his prime and then decided to fight him.

Not everyone has to agree but there are many who think he didnt face up to the best competition..but then they say the same about

Joe should have taken on Sven Ottke and he will eternally be embarrassed that Sven was ranked higher than him when he unified some of the belts. Jow would have beaten Sven but, we will never know.

Yes i can go with that my point about this post' is we should get behind our champ's we dont do that it's a pity if Joe was from the USA with his record of 46 and o we would not here the end of it but that's how it go's. Roy Jone's a few year's back was fighting a bum a month but nothing said about that.

so does mine and your records hehe.

tbh i loved JC until the Hopkins fought when his skills got shown up, and he had things to say about Bhop AFTER the fight, which was unecesary. I still like him but he waas lucky he was in a fledging weight division, or he wouldnt be unbeaten.

Calzaghe is a great fighter and anyone who thinks otherwise is clearly an inferior human being. Calzaghe was my favourite fighter and I won't hear a bad word said about him. Calzaghe couldn't sucker punch a bee, but never needed to resort to it. A truly sublime, exciting and skilled fighter and no need for that 20 punches a round, tag team Cortez, boring Mayweather nonsense.

P4P Calzaghe outworks Floyd and makes him weep and fall into the arms of Ellerbe. Calzaghe was greater than SRR, SRL and Joe Pesci combined.

If i were a fan of joe i'd probably say he was the best too and i can understand that. I don't agree but he was pretty bad ass and underrated. Only problem i have with the guy is that most of the flack that is thrown on the guy was really put on him by himself and his own team. He could have come over here way earlier and i belive done just fine.
